About us
Christmas in Bratislava has been organized by the Koncerty agency since 2010. The concert is one of the highlights of the Advent season in Slovakia's capital. Over the years it has featured leading Slovak opera soloists, the Bratislava Boys' Choir and ensembles of the Slovak National Theatre Opera, conducted by Martin Mazik, Rastislav Stur and Peter Valentovic. In 2018, opera diva Edita Gruberova gave her farewell performance for Slovak audiences at this concert.
The project was created by journalist Katarina Korecka and presenter Iveta Malachovska. Thanks to partnerships with TA3 and RTVS, the concert has also reached television audiences.
